“FUNNY MOUNTAIN I”
An installative performance at X-Erinnerungen,
Festival Tangente, St Pölten.
Scenography made in collaboration with Pire SovaAn 8-minute sound-installation with fresh grass, smoke and a trashbin.
Performed at an old ÖBB Pumphouse, 100 times in a loop, for 2 people at a time.

Cutting grass with kitchen utensils. Transforming a lawn into a pile of grass.
A lawn as an aesthetic, that becomes a worldview: desireable and aspirational through media, architecture and urban design.
Smell & Silage
The grass pile becomes the byproduct of human management: an excess with a distinct pleasurable smell that we dont display but cant avoid ("out of sight, out of mind"). During 3 days of performances, the pile accumulates into its own landscape. The material resists preservation: the pile changes smell, becomes hot from inside, methane is released, and the mass slowly turns into pickled grass - or silage.
